It's all good, Steve4100.

I think Shewolf is getting a bit impatient waiting for the percoset to get passed her way.

Bear tends to share quite readily when it comes to TMI (too much information), but his meds are a whole nother story.

I don't want large.
I don't want spiky.

Unless it's going to be my new nickname.

Here's hoping for a good week for the Bear and the Squin.

well I'm up. pa'ssed one small stone... but cant believe its tha main one so that's to come I guess. Out of pain right now but have quite a headache from the dillaudid and percoset no doubt.

will keep the percoset on me and go to work. I'm a tough Bear.

As for patiodogs post my usual witty retort would be it seems small but I bet you can't get it all in your mouth. However in your case PD I'm not so sure. that might be a sucker bet so to speak

thanks for the good wishes folks. It's certainly been an interesting life here just lately.

So, er, did you catch it? None of my business, plus I almost remember that you know what kind of stones they are, Bear.

They can get to the moon but they don't have a tool for vaporizing this stuff...

actually they do have a method by which they vaporize them via ultra sound and it's the next step if I can't pass them.

I did catch the stone and it seems small to me, certainly too small to cause the kind of pain I was having last night.

Now I need to lose this damn headache.... but I took a Goody's powder and I'm eating something.

had this very problem last year in july

work in a very hot environment, very hard to stay hydrated

went with two herbal methods for treatment, milk thistle extract and chanca piedra

both good for dissolving the stones and regulating and improving kidney function

watched my fluid intakes this summer and have had no more problems

I just looked at my cat scan report, which I didn't relaize they sent home with me.. the big offender is a 4.5 mm stone which is stuck mid ureter and causing hydronephrosis... in other words blocking the flow of urine and causing back up as well as tearing tissue. I hope I can pass it without needing the ultra sound... thats expensive.....

Tasteless pun, osso.

Hydronephrosis isn't something to mess around with, bear. Good luck waiting on it to pass, but don't screw yourself up trying to sidestep a second (or third) mortgage...

Of course it was tasteless... and not even fun.

I don't think he should wait, either, and wonder what the docs were thinking, but

I've no clue what mm size is routine, what tears are difficult later, besides now, what stoppage is what trouble. X dollars for ultrasound may save later money, am guessing saving more immediate pain.

But I know about the money problem.

Meantime, I'd listen to not waiting about hydronephrosis..
