What should the sentences be joined using 'Not only'.

Your question should read:

How should the sentences be joined using 'Not only'?

It is not compulsory to have the "Not only" at the beginning. Is it a specific requirement?

All of these are correct...

Not only should we be sincere to win the respect of others, we should also be trustworthy.

To win the respect of others we should not only be sincere, we should also be trustworthy.

To win the respect of others, not only should we be sincere, we should also be trustworthy.

Thanks, Contrex, for pointing our my errors in the question itself. How careless of me!

Regarding the question, starting the sentence with "Not only' is a requirement?

Can I join the sentences in the followng way?

Not only should we be sincere but we should also be trustworthy to win the respect of others.

Yes that's fine, except maybe it needs a comma after "sincere".
