why do peolple keep the eyes on fish?

Some one got my answers:

1) to see how fresh the fish is -you can tell in the eyes
2) to eat

If it bothers you so much - do what I used to do with lobster when you eat it - cover the eyes with a napkin so he isn't looking at you.

Or eggs? Hmm? Did you know there is a huge conspiracy that eggs supposedly come from chickens?! Tell me, does an egg have feathers? No. Does an egg have a beak? No.

I conclude that the eggs are of a whole new family of animals. I never eat the yellow eye in the middle of the egg (don't be fooled, it's an eye). Case closed.
