Passengers are not allowed to stand in the train. (one word to be changed)
What word should I change? Is it 'in' instead of 'on'?
Many thanks.
If I was allowed to change only one word, it would be "in" to "on."
You would be wrong, Roberta.
No train company in the world is going to allow passengers to stand on the train. They might hit their heads on low tunnel entrances.

"I am sitting on the bus." Is it wrong?
Yes. Get the hell off of there before they arrest you.

Why should they arrest me? I've paid my fare.
You have paid your fare, yes, but that entitles you to sit inside of the bus. When you climb your stupid ass on top of the bus and start making a fool of yourself, well, that's when things start changing.
We are a nation of laws.

You are wrong, my friend.

It is perfectly correct as is. It means you're not allowed to ride the bus standing up, you must sit.
