Hi Webmaster/Moderator

I notice that the word related to the 'embarrassed' emoticon is spelled 'embarassed'. Embarrassed Place the cursor on the emoticon, and the word 'embarassed' is seen.

Could you please have the error rectified? I've brought this up earlier and it seems nothing iis being done.

I hope the spelling is corrected soon.

Best wishes.

wow...! Embarrassed

I think that that spelling correction isn't quite so easy to be corrected as this error is embedded in the A2K interface. Perhaps it'll take awhile if webmaster has the time and inclination?

Alos, please note that 'is' is spelled wrong.

The error does not bother me at all. The icons were designed by computer people, not English majors. However, I am a writer. Sometimes even I make mistakes Embarrassed

Hi Miller

Place the cursor on the emoticon and you will see the word 'embarassed' instead of 'embarrassed'. Embarrassed

This is an English forum that is seen by many people around the world. One of the members said that it should be fixed soon. And I agree.

Many things in life "should be fixed". I personally would never consider that the spelling of an emoticon is in the top one million things in this WORLD needing fixing...

I've posted this matter to the webmaster. We should let the webmaster decide on this issue.

decide on this issue.

This should be: "decide this issue".

By the way, this emoticon is spelled this way on other sites that use this specific emoticon. Looks like an epidemic, doesn't it?

After leaving university, Therese decided on a career in publishing. (Collins Cobuild English Dictionary for Advanced Learners)

It would appear that it should be 'decide on' as shown by the above example sentence.

This emoticon is spelled this way on other sites that use this specific emoticon. Looks like an epidemic, doesn't it?
No, it's not true. It's spelled correctly in the other English forums.
