Howard STern is a disgrace to his own mother. Who gives a rat what he's
got to say. Eva Gabor was on Green Acres, yes, but why Nazi?

Don't be ridiculous, I'm German after all. Eva Gabor was Hungarian.

Eva and Zsa-Zsa (Hungarian) were no more a Nazi then you or I were. In fact, ... "Gabor's maternal family was Jewish and her maternal grandparents died in the Holocaust. Biographers speculate that her paternal family were originally Jewish as well, but converted to Roman Catholicism in order to assimilate, although this has not been confirmed."

Apparently one of these was infamously a palimony suit. Allegedly, he played both sides of the street.

Merv was playing both sides of the street during the marriage which should prick up some ears. Nearly all of his staff were gay men, not that that is unusual in Hollywood. I used to visit backstage with Ed to watch the show being made at the ABC studios on Prospect (out on the rim of the cluster of movie and TV studios in Hollywood).

Merv and Zsa Zsa:

Remembering Merv Griffin

Griffin married Julan Elizabeth Wright in 1958. The two had a son together and divorced in 1973 because of "irreconcilable differences." Griffin never remarried, but he was frequently seen in the company of Hungarian actress Eva Gabor, who died in 1995. Here, the two were photographed in Cap Ferrat, on the French Riviera. In a statement following Griffin's death, Gabor's sister, Zsa Zsa, said, "I'm very upset at the news. He was a very close friend of ours, a good friend of mine and a good friend of Eva's. He was just a wonderful, wonderful man."

That's a nice picture of the two. Merv always smiled. There is harldy any
picture of him where he doesn't smile.

Good tribute to him, thank you, Lightwizard!

Don't know how the double post of the image happened -- couldn't scroll down to find any link the first time, so I posted it again. Here's a link to the ABC picture presentation:

BTW, considering her husbands attitude toward AIDS in the earlier years of the disease, Nancy had many gay friends from her days in the film industry.
It's even in a episode of Maupin's "More Tales from the City."

That's right and he must have been caught in the unusual serious expression.
'cause everytime I would see him at ABC, there was that sparkling smile!

But he was smiling with Rose Kennedy!

A very odd and rather bland personality -- could be the reason she didn't really make it in the movies.
