look for a product with tea tree oil. I've found it effective without the burning and redness that comes with benzoyl peroxide treatments.

i've tired equate acne treatment cream, it has benzoyl peroxide 10%,cleearasil ultra it said 3 days , guarantee and it didn't even work.. 2% salicylic acid acne medication... and this clearasil daily ance controll.. sulfur resorinl acne medication..
none of those worked and the first one dried my skin like hell..
oh yea and i saw this product on t.v stidex power pads.. it has benzoyal peroxide 2.5% and these pads are used to remove dirt, oil, which can clog pores..

should i keep on using these pads i havnt really tired..
and i'm still waitn for the store details on the tea tree oil

I just go to a pharmacy and ask. If you're in the US, then I can't really advise you on where to get these products. I'm in Australia. I don't use anything with benzoyl peroxide. All it seems to do to me is dry and burn. The tea tree oil products seem to absorb and actually work on the acne with out causing the surface dryness.

I'd try what Wilso suggested and maybe pick up some regular every day facial cleansing cloths. I've always had problems with acne and like yourself, I had no luck with all those products, plus they also burned my skin.

My acne was never that bad, just that one or 2 that get as big as Mt Washington ;-)

Anyway, I started using cleansing cloths every day instead of soap on my face about a year ago and I haven't had any mountains since :-D

I was really surprised that these cheap cleaners worked and all the money I dumped on those expensive acne products just ended up in the garbage.

Give it a try and see what happens. It worked for me, so maybe it will for you too.

Good luck to ya.

Hey Wilso :-D How are you and your wonderful family doing? (((((((Hugs)))))))) to baby Wilso :-D

CVS usually has a variety of tea tree oil products available when I go to the States.

The online CVS pharmacy has 50 tea tree oil products. I suspect you can go to nearly any CVS and just ask them for tea tree oil shampoo / soaps.

No, I mean just regular cleansing cloths you find at any drug store. It's not meant for acne, but it cleans the face and cleans your pores.

All docs have told me that dry skin will cause acne along with hormones, so I use the cleansing cloths twice a day and use moisturizer.

Moisturizer use is a good point. This is the problem. Acne is usually associated with excess oil in the skin. Most people try to reduce the oil, with the result that your body reacts by producing even more oil. Keeping your skin moisturized will reduce your body's attempt to produce more. Clean it to keep your pores clear. A tea tree oil product to kill the bacteria of the acne already there. Eat LOTS of fruit and vegetables.
