As mentioned earlier, the Steelers play badly against bad teams. 3-0 win over Miami is embarrassing. Worse then embarrassing.

Scoring a big fat zero is pretty uncommon in rugby (you know, that sport you more-or-less copied and... [ducks to avoid brick-bats]).

After South Africa crushed Scotland on a scoreline of 44-0 in 1950, one of the Scottish players was heard to say: "Aye, and we were lucky to get nil".

I been a Kornheiser fan since when he used to be on "The Reporters" early Sunday mornings, years ago.

I think the pressure of trying to be liked (and sound knowledgeable) on MNF is getting to him. (although ANYBODY is better than "Joey Sunshine")

Wilbon makes PTI, however. Very Happy

Thanks for posting this week's schedule, rp.

I'll be out of town for the rest of the week, returning late Sunday afternoon. I'd appreciate it if osso and rjb can keep track of who needs prompting and I'll pull the tallies together when I get back Sunday night.

Week 13:

This week's choices have been made by selecting the best anagram of a starting QB's name. Note: the list of starting QBs is from the depth charts listed at NFL.com on 11/9/07. I take no responsibility for any changes in starters since I put together the anagrams.

Green Bay (10-1) at Dallas (10-1) Fatter Verb (Brett Favre) outweighs Om On Troy (Tony Romo)
Atlanta (3-8) at St. Louis (5-6) Belch Nifty Row (Byron Leftwich) outgasses the Clam Burger (Marc Bulger)

Houston (5-6) at Tennessee (6-5) Attach Bums(Matt Schaub) sits on Cuing Envoy (Vince Young)

I was asked by pm to check on the tallies for week 12. I found two mistakes. Ragman was given credit for a NO win when he picked Carolina and Pantelones (alone) was given a win in the GB-Detroit game instead of everyone except Pantelones. I've adjusted the results and the real tallies are below.
