I'm hoping for rain to wash out leaf raking, rockhead. I cleaned out the rain gutters Friday. Isn't that enough?
Moving furniture? How about the oldie but still good "I threw my back out lifting weights last night."

JPB: "And now it's time to go over to RJB in the A2K weather room for the gameday weather forecasts for, um, like, the games today!"

RJB: "Thanks, JPB! Love your hair! What do you think of mine! (RJB laughs uproariously; JPB smiles wanly). Bantering aside here are the gameday forecasts!

SUN, NOV 25
Seattle at St. Louis 1:00 PM: 38/rain (*domed stadium)
Minnesota at NY Giants 1:00 PM: 49/clear
Buffalo at Jacksonville 1:00 PM: 73/chance of rain
New Orleans at Carolina 1:00 PM: 47/chance of rain
Washington at Tampa Bay 1:00 PM: 81/chance of rain
Houston at Cleveland 1:00 PM: 45/clear
Tennessee at Cincinnati 1:00 PM: 45/partly cloudy
Oakland at Kansas City 1:00 PM: 39/partly cloudy
San Francisco at Arizona 4:05 PM: 68/partly cloudy (*dome)
Baltimore at San Diego 4:15 PM: 71/partly cloudy
Denver at Chicago 4:15 PM: 41/partly cloudy
Philadelphia at New England 8:15 PM: 37/clear

MON, NOV 26
Miami at Pittsburgh 8:30 PM: 50/rain

In addition to St Louis and Arizona... Detroit, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Minnesota, New Orleans and Houston play in domed statiums.

Teams that play inside at home are (as of 1/4/2007) 8 and 29 in play-off games. Only two teams that came out of domed stadiums have won the Super Bowl (St Louis in 1999 and Indianapolis in 2006). Domes may be comfortable for fans but the teams play not like hungry cats but rather like kittens who have lost their mittens when it's time to play in places like Green Bay, Buffalo, Chicago etc in winter.

When the Steelers play the Patriots, I hope there is a blizzard. That might stop Brady.

Charlottesville is 37 with drizzle. No leaf raking today. Awwww.

Howsabout some of you fellas come over to do some leaf-shovelling. It snowed on top of the leaves. Nasty, slippery mess.

If yousall don't show up, it's going to get even better - as rain is forecast here.

~~~
Today is the CFL's biggest game - the Grey Cup. Playing in Toronto today.
It's warmed up to 34F here (1.2 C); was 21 when I woke up this a.m. Now it's time for a brisk walk...
Most of the leaves on the neighbor's godforsakenbadlypruned mulberry tree are still clinging to the tree instead of resting in my back yard. But soon, soon..
By my calculation with my seasonably appropriate green and red highlighters, Cowdoc, ehbeth and lion gain ground amongst the 6-pack at the top (thanks to New Orleans defeating Carolina). Cicerone, whose picks diverged from the rest of ours, came out about even.
Shula likes the idea as well. :wink:
an intersting factoid about that '72 season --
the 'fins did not face a single playoff team in those 14 wins...
I like Winnipeg, but that's because I like Winnipeg - the city.
The better partiers are from Saskatchewan - so mmmmm I'd go for the Riders if the game was being played in any other city.
Yeah, Germ, but Shula wasn't illegally filming the Jets in 72, either.... Laughing
As to the CFL, I liked the team Ricky Pothead was on...
