Green Bay -- Pass the potatoes, Brett.
Dallas -- Stick a fork in the turkey, it's done.
Indianapolis -- Here's footstool, get comfy.
Seattle -- Try some mutton for a change.
Minnesota -- Don't care what they bring to the table, not pickin' them.
Jacksonville -- Thinking ahead to Advent.
New Orleans -- Pass the pralines, please.
Tampa Bay -- A tough fight for wishbone.
Cleveland -- Romeo, please pass anything.
Tennessee -- Hey you in the funny suit, it's Thanksgiving, not Hallowe'en.
Kansas City -- Another platter dropped.
Arizona -- Go sit at the kids' table.
San Diego -- Don't fall asleep at the table.
Denver -- I yam who I yam (whoever I yam).
New England -- Is that any way to treat a guest?

Pittsburgh -- An empty plate at the feast.

It appears as if we have gotten most of the players in on this truncated week. I hope we can pick up the rest before tomorrow afternoon.
There are now 6 of us between 1st and 3rd place here, all of whom have picked.
We are unanimous in our choices in 10 games, but then:
Ragman (1st at 107-53) disagrees with Cowdoc on 1 game, Ehbeth on 1, RJB on 0(!), Lion on 2, but with CI on 4;
Cowdoc (2nd at 105-55) disagrees with Ehbeth on 0, Lion and RJB on 1, but with CI on 5;
Ehbeth (3rd at 102-58 like her mates below) disagrees with Lion and RJB on 1 and with CI on 5;
Lion disagrees with RJB on 2 and CI on 6;

CI could make a big move up or down. Ragman looks pretty safe for this week.

The trouble is to find the right game to watch. By happenstance I've seen some great games even though I don't watch for years or decades at a time. Hint - usually NOT the superbowl, though not always not.

I guess I forgot to take my morning anti-stupidity pill. I don't know where I thought I found that. I hope to hear from both Mr and Ms Cowdoc.

hmm. Stop. Where is Panzade? Stop. Do people still learn Morse code? Stop.
Amusingly enough, Cowdoc's actual picks differed from what I had him down for by, I think, only one game: Chicago vs Denver. Doc joins with Lion in going against the rest of us by choosing Chicago. That could be an interesting game.

Wow..RJB and I are in sync on picks. That's pretty interesting.

I read the weather forecast for Thursday as snow and messy in Chicago..looks downright nasty. Wonder if it'll clear by Sunday at game time. If not, it favors a running team.

My rationale was twofold and simple: The Bears are always tough at home against AFC opponents, especially those who throw a lot, and - historically - teams coming off a Monday night game do not do well the following Sunday. By the way, although it's only eleven degrees here in the Rockies this morning, it's a brilliant, sunny, magnificent day! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. And, I said I know better, but GO PACKERS anyway!
