They showed us the Houston Texans. After it ended, we caught the last little bit of the Pates/Colts game. Oh, well. The Texans finally got on the winning side.

Perhaps your report was prior to the end of the last game? My report card should be 9 wins 3 losses? Is this correct?

Precisely.

Yes. There was some sloppiness (players, coaches, and refs included)
but it was a real nail-biter. I can't wait for their next meeting.

This week's picks come from the better or odder song associated with the mascot (not the city) for any given team versus another. As before, if there's more than one possible song, I'll just pick the one I prefer.

For mascots that don't really have an associated song (and I'm not talking team fight songs, just pop stuff, the kind of junk that swirls in my head all day long), then I'll improvise.

References can be to the song, a lyric or the singer/band or even an album. Obscurity will rule the day. Winners are all listed first.

All sales final.

Yes, I agree; it's fun to watch from week to week how we fare with this bunch of a2kers. I'm really into this year's games; more than the past few years.

I don't even emote on the 49ers and Raiders like I used to in the past.

JPB's overall standings shows me tied with c.i. and osso. This is no coincidence.

We get together regularly to discuss picks and how to close the gap on Ragman's lead. I hope that is not against the rules.
