Those are my picks too, Wandel. They've been sitting resting on the "stickies" on my desktop while I cogitate if I mean them. I might just change Jax to New Orleans, but I'll put the list here for the nonce.

Your picks are excellent, Osso. (But.... you have one typo.... you're showing NE instead of Ind!)
Ah, I missed that. Well, I'll leave it for now....
(I'm actually FOR Indy.)
This picking stuff is muy complicato.

Well WE don't try to be perrfect!
How long does it take to pull names from a hat?
And I'm slow and arthritic.
I'll be a bit late. My pointy-ended crystal ball is in the shop.

I use a bit of logic and some sentiment.
Y'can't depend on either of those.
For me, it gets irritating picking teams I don't like. Like, Seattle. I'm presently over that, and may be sorry I thought I was over that, soon.
And yet, I pick New England.
I never claimed to be perfect.

I don't know about logic, but sentiment plays in a bit.
This week's choices are from the better city theme (or associated) song. For cities with > 1 song, I'll just go with one more or less at random (e. g. there's lots of NY and Georgia songs). If I don't know a song for a city, I'll improvise.
San Francisco (2-5) Atlanta (1-6) Ray Charles' Georgia beats Joe Jackson's version of San Francisco Fan
Cincinnati (2-5) Buffalo (3-4) Ruby Keeler's Shuffle off to Buffalo over CSNY's Ohio
Denver (3-4) Detroit (5-2) KISS's Detroit Rock City blows the doors off John Denver's Rocky Mountain High
Green Bay (6-1) Kansas City (4-3) Kermit the Frog's It's Not Easy Being Green takes it over Paul McCartney's version of Kansas City, Here I Come
San Diego (4-3) Minnesota (2-5) The Mamas and the Papas' California Dreaming beats out Sonny Curtis's Mary Tyler Moore Show Theme (You're Gonna Make it After All)
Jacksonville (5-2) New Orleans (3-4) The Blues Brothers' New Orleans kicks it over Sufjan Steven's Jacksonville
Washington (4-3) NY Jets (1-7) Elton John's Benny and the Jets miraculously makes it past Steve Earle's Christmas in Washington
Arizona (3-4) Tampa Bay (4-4) I give it to Mark Lindsay's Arizona over The Tampa Bay Rowdies' Theme Song
Carolina (4-3) Tennessee (5-2) James Taylor's Carolina in my Mind squeaks out over Johnny Rivers's Memphis, Tennessee
Seattle (4-3) Cleveland (4-3) Anything by Seattle's Nirvana or Pearl Jam outgrunges Ian Hunter's Cleveland Rocks, particularly after listening to it about a thousand times during the ALCS
New England (8-0) Indianapolis (7-0) The Dropkick Murphys' I'm Shipping Up to Boston throttles The Bottle Rockets' Indianapolis. I mean, how can you count out a song that refers to a missing wooden leg?
Houston (3-5) Oakland (2-5) Thelma Houston's Don't Leave Me This Way outdiscos Too Short's Oakland
Dallas (6-1) Philadelphia (3-4) The best song from Frank Loesser's "The Most Happy Fella", aka Big D (Stands for Dallas) steamrolls Philadelphia Freedom (sorry, Elton John, you already won for Benny and the Jets)
Baltimore (4-3) Pittsburgh (5-2) Randy Newman's Baltimore edges Bruce Springsteen's A Good Man is Hard to Find (Pittsburgh). By 27
