People that walk into the office talking to you and keep talking to you after noticing that you are on the phone are RUDE!

People that interrupt you or talk over you are rude.

People that spend 15 minutes talking about themselves, then show signs of boredom the minute you open your mouth are rude.

People who are trying to break our society by breaking in and breaking down social rules are rude. And criminal.

CJ, that is clearly wrong.

Breaking down social rules is not a crime-- rather it is a right.

I see it as a responsibility.

The other day these three H1-B Visa types were walking into the office in front of me. Two guys in front, a girl following, carrying her briefcase in one hand and coffee in the other. There are two doors forming a secure breezeway on the way in. The guys dropped the first door on the girl, almost knocking her coffee all over her - I caught it just in time. I figured they just hadn't seen her (or me) until they did it again at the second door!!! Rude, clueless and classless, though I imagine it did have something to do with class (caste).

What the hell is an HB-1 Visa type? I think it's rude to generalize, and vaguely at that, a group of people.

CJ's use of the word "caste" should make it clear that he is referring to a racial stereotype.

Well, here in the real world, H1-B's are what is referred to as "offshoring", or, in this case, "near shoring". There are two major players in this space, called Infosys and Tata. Welcome to the global economy.

Anyway, they don't treat women very well.

And it's not a stereotype. It's a profile. I'm profiling. You should too.

The implication is that I don't reside in the real world? What world is there outside my window, then?

Isn't CJ one of the types that say they aren't against LEGAL immigrants?

They aren't immigrants.... implying such is rude to real, legal immigrants.

People on H1-B visas (who are the only people you are currently attacking) are most certainly legal immigrants. What's the problem CJ... you minutemen types can't tell the difference between legal and illegal immigrants?

I am sorry I let CJ suck me into this silly little tangent. No more from me.

Uh, no, they are not immigrants by any means. Those are work visas. They don't get to stay here - unless of course, they go "home" to Mexico and then sneak back across the border, thus, achieving the ultimate "illegal" status.

ebp - I called you out years ago. You're a real creep.

Why would Dag go to Mexico? She's in the U.S. legally.
