In a fireworks on the net, the members of the site went wild. A mod said: "Lay off the cheebers, okay?" And then the mod closed the thread.

What does the word "cheeber" mean? I inferred it as "debate", but I could not find the word in any dictionaries. Would you like to tell me?

From what I can tell on a google search, it looks like it is another name for marijuana, or a joint.

Thanks LibertyD. The mod who said "cheebers" was Australian. So that question may concern Australian English I am afraid.

I believe the American spelling is 'cheeba', it's more rapper slang.

10,000 Topics. I'm impressed. Congrats Oristar.

BTW, sorry I can't help with cheeber. It doesn't look like I'm going to be much help with your up-to-the-minute expressions. I'm glad other a2kers are more au courant than I.
