My point, the troops hate the Democrats. They are committed to a successful mission, and this is the **** they get in return.

Funny that with all the secrecy surrounding the event that only biased media got in to see him.

I guess they gave the unbiased media the same sort of equipment they gave the Iraqi troops assigned to protect him.

Is that why so many are coming back and running for office as Democrats?

Well, there are at least eight service men and women who don't hate the Democrats:
Lentz, who as a major in the 82d Airborne helped to rebuild the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, is running for Congress. He is one of at least nine veterans vying to become the first soldiers of the post-9/11 military to be elected to the House of Representatives, according to party leaders. They say their experience makes them well-suited to help successfully extricate the United States from Iraq and to more effectively fight the war on terrorism, which they fear is being lost in the Muslim world's court of public opinion. Eight of the nine are running as Democrats.

I doubt there many soldiers in Iraq with pictures of Diane Feinstein, Barbara Boxer, or Nancy Pelosi posted in their quarters. Except maybe for a few real sickos.

This is some pretty fancy spin. I'll bet they are running in districts with Republican incumbents, right?

So Joe,you think we should lose?

Yes, I do. I made my position perfectly clear in this thread.

Well, after reading that thread, your thoughts mean nothing.

When you actively root for Americans to die,and when you actively root for as many American casualties as possible,do you realy expect to be taken seriously on anything you say about the war?

Well, I heard a recording of it, so unless they edited out the cheers, the media report was accurate.

There are unattractive female Democrats?!?!?!? I shall have to change my allegiance immediately. Oh, the humanity!

I shall feel ever so much better hanging out with the hunks in the Republican party!

Whoops, old Strom is dead....

Well, so are all those troops in Iraq, so maybe it's fair.

When you say that you want America to lose, then you are rooting for as many American casualties as possible.

You can try to spin it any way you want, but the bottom line doesnt change.

You said "the troops hate the Democrats." I linked to an article that shows that at least eight service members most assuredly do not hate the Democrats. Where's the spin?

First we must postulate the existence of a mind, then we must determine the possibility of it changing.
