Not familiar with this Van Gogh

Im thinking that fireplace construction cost at 100$ an hour for master and 50$ an hour for the assistant qnd like 20$ an hour for a schlepper.
I see about 15 grand in that thing and I dont even like it, Its not my idea of "homey"

Fireplaces, especially when oversized, should be a bit understated. (Thats just my feeling)

Vincent van Gogh painted at least 18 paintings of olive trees.

One is in Kansas City.
Curators at the Nelson-Atkins museum of art in Kansas City said they discovered the dead insect in one of its star paintings, Vincent Van Gogh’s Olive Trees, when it was being scanned as part of the research for a catalogue of its French painting collection.

Hmmm, I don't know if I fully buy that no one else ever saw the dead insect.
I'm fond of olive trees, used to see them in California.

My best painting (by me, I mean) is large and set over the fireplace mantle. As it happens, I've never used the fireplace here, living alone and having vision problems - not horrible, but I can be quite clumsy. Last thing I want is to somehow set this place afire.
