@Danny67,
what did she say when you asked her? after all, she's the only one that can hive you a worthwhile answer.

@Danny67,
I would not have been happy with her response. But I would have immediately asked her what she meant by that and taken the opportunity to have a frank discussion about where we both see the relationship going. It is called communication.

hm if you have doubts, then it you might be right, as you know her the best...maybe what she actually meant is "I love you like a friend" or something?:/ confront her! thats the most important now

@Danny67,
She is sending you a message and I doubt it is one you want to hear, but you need to talk to her to figure it out.

@Danny67,
What Engineer just said!

You should have responded to her comment with...

Have the discussion!

'I love you. Do you still love me?"

Sounds like this is a whiney question only a person in trouble would ask.
There's probably more to this than indicated.

@Danny67,
I like your sense of humor too Smile

I'd say she's either sick of you asking or she's telling the truth.

To me, "I love you a person" means exactly that and begs to differ if she is "in love with you"...

It doesn't mean that she has someone else, but if she is no longer in love with you but loves you as a person, that puts you more in the friendship zone.

Ask yourself if you both still laugh, if you have great chemistry if you can hold any conversation and enjoy it, if the answer is no or not really, then you either have to work out how to bring it back alive or I guess, wonder if the relationship is going to continue to go anywhere.
