hi, I would like to find our where the word OR relates in this sentence with the word DUE TO. The sentence is below in box.

A person would be eligible for it if:
Lost employment or experienced a reduction in employment due to a natural disaster.
________________________________

Which condition would be valid or not valid?

Lost employment DUE TO a natural disaster.
Experienced a reduction in employment DUE TO a natural disaster.
Lost employment.
Experienced a reduction in employment DUE TO a natural disaster.

Both conditions are valid.

A person is eligible if:
1. Lost employment due to a natural disaster
2. Experienced a reduction in employment due to a natural disaster

Both conditions are met re 'due to'.

A person would be eligible for it if they lost employment; or experienced a reduction in employment due to a natural disaster.
Only the second condition is met re 'due to'.

thanks for info, I wonder if some people could interpret those the wrong way IF IT WAS JUST SPOKEN, not written, very tricky.
