Still feel confused when Im making some sentences which used "of"and "'s"
The progress of the course goes so fast , I can't catch up .

It's possessive either way. Use them interchangeably.

Agree with what Ragman said.

Both your examples are grammatically correct. Which one you choose to use is a matter of personal preference.
