I'm assuming the Russian based companies who list their stock on the S&P stock exchange had seen their stock portfolios fall down sharply (lost value).

As evidenced in the following paragraph:

Tsar is as usual right. It's got nothing to do with the Russian tanks (armored vehicles) that are, I think, now in Crimea.
