Ask yourself why the banks would want this to happen. Greedy and uncontrolled banks caused the economic downturn. Looks like nothing has changed

How about this: Shut down Freddie and Fannie AND implement Ellen Brown's recommendations regarding the creation of money, fractional reserve banking and all the rest, including a 100% reserve requirement, the elimination of derivatives, short selling, and all the rest. I don't have any love for bankers...
