@Ragman,

that said, it wouldn't shock me if Newton gets it -- particularly if they go 16-0...

but it's pretty effing amazing how well the Pates are doing when you consider --

TOM BRADY CLOSING IN ON BEST REGULAR SEASON OF ANY 38-YEAR-OLD
QUARTERBACK IN NFL HISTORY

At the start of the 2015 season, the prevailing wisdom was that Tom Brady, fueled by Deflategate,
would lay the smackdown on the rest of the league with an epic campaign that rivaled his MVP
performance in 2007.

Well, he hasn’t produced those kinds of stats in the 2015 season. But with one game left before the
playoffs, it appears that he will have posted the finest regular-season stat line for any 38-year-old
quarterback in the history of the game, all while leading his team to the cusp of the No. 1 seed and
home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Through 15 games, Brady -- who turned 38 in August -- has completed 65 percent of his passes
(390-for-603) for 4,636 yards. He’s also thrown 36 touchdowns against seven interceptions and
has a passer rating of 103.1. He’s tops in the league in passing yardage, touchdown passes and
touchdown-to-interception ratio, and is in the top five in passer rating and average passing yards
per game (309). Not bad for the oldest starting quarterback for any team that’s in playoff contention.
(Indy’s Matt Hasselbeck and Denver’s Peyton Manning are older than Brady, but neither are starters
at this point.)

@Region Philbis,
We all have had to deal with difficult bosses...but he has to deal with smiling Bill Belichick. Talk about making things come up roses. This guy (after deflate-gate) didn't let it negatively interfere with his psyche.

And then ... there's Giselle. He gets lots of points for landing her. Must be so hard for him.

I think he settled down. Bridget Moynahan is so much classier (and better looking in my opinion).

There is nothing in this statement that makes any sense.

@maxdancona,
No idea what you mean. I was being facetious. Giselle and him are the quintessential super-couple.

Bridget Moynahan has got nothing on Giselle. Frankly, I wouldn't toss either of them out of bed for eating crackers, though

It's hard on Giselle, when poor Tommy has a bad day playing football. During de-flate gate, Giselle went off to Paris for a face lift ( like we don't have plastic surgeons in Boston!) . I'd say that Tommy can have a bad, bad temper, when things aren't going his way. Giselle with her big bucks doesn't have to stand around and take any "heat' from Tommy, when things aren't going his way. She just packs her bags and checkbook and off she goes to be with her"high society"friends.

Giselle, has the big bucks and the big earning potentional and I wouldn't be surprised to see their marriage fold down the road.

In the mean time, Tommy is stiring up a food/fitness business for his future.
I think he owns the TB12 fitness center in Foxboro.

When Tommy wouldn't marry Bridget after Tommy's first son appeared on the scene, I hope you noticed that Bridget didn't run off and get an abortion.
No, she had the baby, and she now takes care of her son, full time, while maintaining a full-time acting career.

When Tommy didn't marry Bridget, I considered him to be a dog. Plain and simple. If the time ever comes, when Tommy and Giselle split-up, Tommy may wake up and realize, he's only been Giselle's BOY-TOY.

Tommy married Giselle, because in his middle-class brain, he thinks he's now crossed over to "high society". No way...Tommy can throw the ball, hoping someone will catch it, but in the final analysis, Tommy is strictly middle class. Marrying Giselle didn't elevate Tommy class-wise.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

@Ragman,
I don't find Gisele Bundchen that attractive even compared to non-super models I know personally.

Any other South Park Fans here? (This is from "stunning and brave").

You know what, guys? I’m gonna Tom Brady this thing, I’m gonna say, ‘You’re not giving me four days of detention! You’re only giving me one!’ No, to hell with that! ‘You’re going to give me NO days of detention! And then I’m gonna go home and f—k my hot wife, who’s not even that hot… kinda looks like a dude!”

Just so everyone knows, I was wearing my Grogan jersey tonight, so that is why the Patriots won. I will wear again next week.

he's 33 -- not too old for an NFL QB.

as long as he takes care of his body and can avoid another major injury, he should be able to play another 6-7 years...
