All staged with the girls after the speech, etc. etc., but too bad these people don't get it, too bad they aren't conservatives, I'd vote for them. More likable than Hillary and Bill, thats for sure.

All of a sudden, a decent marriage and fidelity means something, according to the pundits. Hey, they told us it didn't matter when Bill and Hillary were running. Whats changed?

All these feel good speeches and video just doesn't seem they're giving the American People something to chew on about this election - or am I missing something?

Better get used to seeing that video of the kids. Anyone with a three digit IQ could see that was TOTALLY unscripted.

You don' t think it was staged? You don't think they suggested the kids say where are you, daddy, and we love you, daddy, etc.? Sorry, I don't think very much happened there that wasn't staged. Perhaps a very small part, but mostly staged.

Can't wait to compare notes, nimh. Anyway, I was wiping tears through the whole thing and felt like an idiot...because her "talking points" were so transparent, but she wrapped a really effective speech around them.
You could tell when she came to points the PR guys said had to be worked in...like "I love America."

But, I will tell you I am impressed with her community service, her upbringing and her resilience.

I would ALSO say here....I'm equally impressed with how Cindy McCain spends her time...but that's for another thread. (Did some reading)
