God never said SHE had to have faith...only we mortals needed it.
And, since she is omniscient, she believes in herself, therefore she is a theist.
A thee, and a theist. Get it?
Ridiculous assumptions lead to ridiculous rationalizations to support the ridiculous assumption.

Is that an argument for or against religion?
Well, unintentionally, I believe it is an argument FOR a sense of humour.

Against.
The cartoon describes a paradox in which God must be an atheist. The paradox exists because the original assumption (that such a God exists) is wrong. Religion is filled with complex and unrealistic rationalizations needed to support the original assumptions. Many of the mysteries of life which religious people struggle with, simply vanish if you remove the false assumptions.
Eh, it's just a joke about that assumption. Do you assault the logic of every comic you see?

No. Just that one.
It's just the first thing that popped into my head when I read it. Sorry if I didn't respond appropriately.
Chriastian God( Jesus) is a communist.
while other umpteen gods are loyal like DOGS
The cartoon says god is a theist who wouldn't believe in other gods. Sounds like a corporate CEO.
Deb's goddess is a theist but there wasn't anything mentioned about not acknowledging other goddesses. As any woman knows, women love to get together and talk, so there must be many goddesses--with a somewhat sick sense of humor.
I've often thought about being able to talk with one of them personally and ask: "What were you thinking?"
I think my goddess was just like god, with a dess on the end!
I guess I just don't know how to visualise gods wh0 ain't ornery and unreasonable...

Is zero a false assumption in numerics? Is it really possible to remove something that has no self implied value? 0 - 0 = 0
