I have several published poems and copyrights. I have won several awards, including a grand prize for my poetry and short stories. My writing style combines detailed description with mildly shocking imagery to create a believable plot and characters with depth. For this reason, I have problems with believable dialogue and comical situations that ring true.
I have finished the text layout for a children's story and I am currently seeking suggestions in finding someone to help with the artwork. I am also in the research stages of a romance novel.
I am the mother of four teenagers, who provide me with endless inspiration.
I am a Certified Paralegal and I hold an Associate of Arts - Pre-Law Degree. It is my hope to continue my education in Clinical Psychology / Forensic Psychology within the next few years. I have special interest in criminal psychology and how it applies to serial murder, especially MO, signature and motivation. I am also interested in handwriting analysis, body language and facial expression and how it applies to integrity (employability) and identification of violent tendencies and mental disorders.
I would also one day like to charter and head up a domestic violence / child abuse response team connected with the local police department / sheriff's department.
