Okay, I've got the pictures -- and I have the URL addresses -- but I can't seem to get the thing posted.
Any suggestions?
Doh! I can't see the picture.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh, very nice! You're right. The tattooist is very good indeed.
Wow -- that was a project putting those pics in. But I stuck with it and finally got the bloody things in.
Hope you folks like the tat.
Little K thanks for the kind words -- and for you help in getting the pictures here.
very nice! Good job all the way around.
Thanks for sharing
nice one frank..looks great!!!!
Very nice work, Frank! The details are clear and sharp and the shading is quite nice. And congrats on the posting as well. Thanks for sharing
Hey, that's great!! I like the full picture of you -- you look pretty happy about it. Kind of a "spring in your step" sort of vibe even though you are not actually in motion.
Can't tell you how much fun it was deciding to get (and getting) the tat -- but I had almost as much fun figuring out how to post the pictures once LittleK helped me upload them to her LittleK site.
Now that I know how to do it, I'm sure I will have other pictures (not of me) to put into threads. I am elated that I mastered this technique.
As for the full picture, now that I look at it, I realize I look a bit grouchy. Normally I've got a big smile on my face, but the woman who was taking the pictures is one of those people who never seems able to finally pull the trigger -- and I guess the "cheese" was gone before she got around to it.
But that picture did give me a chance to use the "lighten picture" feature over at LittleK's site.
GREAT SITE. I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.
I like it, Frank, I like it!
That is indeed a quality tattoo, Frank. Now, what's the story with that quilt hanging on the wall? Is that something your wife made? Surely there is a story behind it. Let's drop the tattoo conversation for a bit and get the lowdown on that quilt.
Yeah, Gustav
Nancy made that quilt to go with the decor of the kitchen we just had gutted and rebuilt. (Lots of dinero went into that!)
She is a major league seamstress (makes lots of her own clothes) and uses it as a relaxation activity. (I'll stick with golf for my relaxing!)
Thank you for noticing it.
We are thinking of buying our own digital camera (I do lots of work with a 35 mm, but we gotta get into the 21st century) -- and when we do (or when Beth is over with her's again) I'll post a full picture of the quilt.
It is nice -- and thanks for noticing. I just mentioned it to Nancy, and she thanks you for noticing it, too.
I'm up for my first tattoo too. My only problem is that I've seen a lot of hatchet jobs and I really, really don't want one for my first one.
I know what I want I just need to find a damn good tattooist to do it.
So, can anyone reccommend a damn good tattoist in the UK ? Someone who can do top fine-line work ?
Thanks in advance peeps.
:-)
