@sozobe,
During school time u should pack her lunch only on days that she does not like the lunch at school. And if u can watch her lunch account to make sure she isn't getting all of the fatty and lardy foods. U could also use this new lunch box its called the freezer pack or something like that.

That's very cute indeed.

Might give me some ideas too! (I got away from the pasta salads, and those would be good now that it's warm again.)

School lunches got challenging again when she got braces, so many sides I put in before were crunchy (and crunchy is mostly out).

Yes, I thought it was a cute idea too!

Pasta is always a great lunch, especially now with sozlet having braces.
PB&J sandwiches too and soft fruits like strawberries, blueberries.....

I am still preparing lunch for Jane, even though she's a sophomore in high school now. She'll get a whole wheat bagel with cream cheese and an apple -
that's all she wants and at school she'll take a salad from the cafeteria.
