In my youth, of course, I knew all about contagious and non-contagious diseases. Now that my hair is silver and my nerves are silky-gray, I think that senility just might be catching.

Eyup! I have friends who were elementary school teachers, so I don't want to cast aspersions on their very fine intellects, but......................
