...is the best way to make money period. That goes for both males and females. Why is the government bent on trying to stop sex from selling if it's a way for the poor to earn money? Sex will happen either way, whether it's safe or not safe, so why is the government concerned with ppl who spend their money on safe sex and ppl who make money off of selling safe sex?
If just about everybody could sell their body in safe sex for money it would make way for more jobs which we as a country need anyway. But I think morals of political related ppl, in part, is what's fu*king up our money making potential as a country. How many other countries would want to pay for safe sex with americans (or how many americans would want to pay for safe sex with those in other countries?)? I think the whole wide world would benifit from legalizing safe sex prostitution. The law need be changed.
The real question is what can we do to change the law on this issue?
In Amsterdam, where I have been a couple of times, sex for sale is legal as is the selling and consumption of marijuana. The crime rate is much lower than here. The reason prostitution is illegal here is because people want it illegal. Not that there's anything wrong with it.
Busma, can you please explain why you believe the best way to make money, period, is sex?
Why not, oh, making cupcakes?
You say because not everyone wants/likes cupcakes?
Well, not everyone wants/likes sex.
Your market is so much bigger with cupcakes. You can sell to just about everybody, even diabetics, if they're sugar free.
Besides already being legal, a cupcake can be consumed in public. You won't get in any trouble for eating one in the park, or at work.
I'll be honest, most of the time if you walked up to me and said "Want a cupcake?" I'd say yes. Even if I was going to save it for later.
If you asked me if I wanted sex, I might say no, or yes, but not with you, or I might ask you if you had a cupcake.
Making sweeping statements like "safe sex is the best way to make money" is ridiculous.
I think running a all inclusive funeral parlour would really be the best way to make money....you've got your burials, cremations, can assist the family with organ donation, shooting ashes and bodies into outer space. enbalming, not embalming....tons of options.
Everybody dies, and the body must be disposed of in one way or the other.
I'm with Chai and I like cup cakes.
Thanks for the funeral home idea, Chai. I need a new career and I'll have to give this some thought :-)
Prostitution is legal in Nevada. Perhaps Nevada is your Nirvana.
I might just move there and open up a cupcake shop.
There is a lovely cupcake shop here, we could pattern it after St. Cupcake! (http://www.saintcupcake.com/)
Maybe we could rehabilitate prostitutes to work in our cupcake shop!
Really though, an honest answer to your question would be I think they should legalize prostitution too. The tax revenues generated by it would be huge.

Way to go girl! Kill 2 birds with one stone :-D
Keep in mind, Nevada has the lowest rate of sexually transmitted diseases of all 50 states. And, if you don't like cupcakes, you don't have to buy cupcakes.
The cupcakes in Nevada are just a different kind of cupcake.
$200/hr for the bitches. Step on up.
What makes you think my cupcakes are not different, eh?

Hmmmm.... Couple hundred bucks would come in handy right about now.
An argument for legalizing prostitution is that the girls are free to go to the police if they are being harassed, without the fear of prosecution. Because legal or not, it is happening. One of the oldest professions in the world will not simply disappear just because some conservative wants it to.

Are you refering to Jimmy Swaggart, the Rebublican evangekist who spoke against prostitutes and pornography until he was pulled over by the police with a prostitute and 200 porn mags? Or Evangelist Ted Haggard who preached against gays and was caught with a male protitute? Or Brent Parker, The Republican state representative who was arrested for soliciting sex from an undercover officer posing as a male prostitute? Or...well, you get the idea
Did somebody mention cupcakes?
Yeah, yeah, right over here nimh and this ones on the house ;-)
I'll pay for someone to have sex with me........
