I'll start:
I was once a moderator on another message board.
Hmmm... some people know more than others.
I won a prize at a town art show when I was in middle school.
Cool, littlek. Do you still do art work?
Rarely. I had a thread a year or more ago where I talked about two pastels I was working on. Mostly I take photos these days.
Ok, I'll admit it, I'm an ass girl. No sooner do a see a handsome face, my eyes head strait for the ass
I'm pretty expurgative on a2k.
People probably don't know I am finally getting the last of my stored stuff into my present abode, thence commencing some effort to list some things on ebay and or craigs list, neither of which I've ever done and am scaredykat to do. (Advice seriously welcome).
Re my own history, I've some things I could say, but they bore me. What would you like to hear?
Montana, when are you going to start appreciating men for their minds? They're not just sex objects, dontcha know?
Osso, anything at all. I never knew you were about to become an ebay magnate!
I once won a public speaking contest that included in it contestants from all over the Eastern United States.
Really, Snood? I used to near die giving speeches. I didn't get over that until my forties...
Did you travel to the speech contest place?
Snood, that doesn't really surprise me. You're an articulate guy!
Hey, Snood. I won a public speaking award too. Smaller venue, though. (It was back in school.)
Yup, the contest was in Lakeland, Florida - sponsored by the Optimist clubs of America. They used to do a lot of things to help young men - dunno, maybe they still do. I got to fly in an airplane for the first time as a result of traveling for that contest.
Funny, but even though I've had experience at public speaking(was an instructor in the Army for 4+ years, been a college radio DJ), I still get butterflys and flop sweats when I have to do it... some things don't change...
I loved reading Erma Bombeck in 7th grade. Used one of her stories for a presentation in speech class and drew a little film strip to go with it.
I was afraid of vampires until I was like 15. I lost a lot of sleep over that.
Oh, and Bear and I are separating. He is moving out mid August. Amicable, no big deal.
You do?
Cool. But, I don't think I know you.
Hmm. You found out Bear's fangs are real?
I can shoot. Not a bad shot with a rifle, either.
You don't know anything about me at all. What would you like me to tell you?
Why we should give a shyt. Oh, and welcome to A2K.
You might have liked me. And thank you.
