How do you figure the influx will go down?

Interestingly, the bill did contain money for a large increase in border patrol units and enforcement - which now will not happen at all.

If anything, the number of illegals is probably going to go up as a result of the failure to act. Isn't that the line that Conservatives have been peddling for years - that the number of illegals is rising at a great rate, and if we don't do something about it, this will continue?

Well, we've just done nothing about it.

Careful MM, not only is that cute Irish girl you are ogling is an "illegal" (as you say), she is also carrying an unlicensed handgun. It seems the NRA types made handguns easy to get without proper ID. Go figure.

How do you know she is an "illegal"?
Have you asked to see her papers,or are you just assuming that since she is Irish she must be illegal?

I thought you were above that,at least you claim to be.

As for the unlicensed handgun,IMHO the only license needed is the second amendment.

Since I dont know that she is an illegal,and since I do not make assumptions based on nationality,like you do,I have no reason to assume that she is an illegal and therefore not allowed to carry a concealed weapon.

Again,you are the one making assumptions based on nationality,yet you have said that doing so is wrong.
So,is it wrong or isnt it?
