I watched C-SPAN's 6/17/07 1-1/2 hour show of John Agresto's mia culpa for neocon's mistakes re Iraq via his book, Mugged by Reality: The Liberation of Iraq and the Failure of Good Intentions. His candor was amazing and the most frank description of the failures and our ignorance of Iraq culture and religion. There was no transcript available of his presentation. The following is similar, but far less complete, of his story.
