Where? c.i.
The front of the house looks Swiss or German but the large front porch and balcony also remind me of the US south such as Georgia or Louisiana.
I'm thinking New England, or Block Island, or perhaps New Foundland. Somewhere way up North. Thinking. The peak of the roof has German look.
My first thoughts are opposite to the former posters': I guess it's either in the West Indies or in Africa.
Hmmm. There's something about the light that says North to me. And the building appears to be brick or shingle siding. That rules out hot or tropical for me.
I think the building is near to the sea...
I'm still thinking southern U.S. Look at those trees in bloom behind the house. The more I look at that porch the more I want to say Georgia or Louisiana. Sure looks like a southern veranda to me.
I wonder what that beige square is in the upper right hand corner. Behind the house there is another building or an extension to that building. And behind that, there are taller structures.
LOL! You mean that white blotch in the sky is a building? On my monitor it looks like a blurry tree in bloom.
Ha! That first "tree" has something pointy above it. Almost makes it look like the Chrysler building here!
But then, on the Panama Canal one I thought trains on tracks looked like a ship in the water! --and guessed it anyway!! LOL
"A blurry tree in bloom." Thanks for the laugh. c.i.
Butrfly, You are amazing. Yes, it's in Georgia. Atlanta to be exact. Enough hint? c.i.

Is that a confirmation on that tree, CI or just commentary!!
Margaret Micthells house?
Yes. Except it's "Mitchell."
picky, picky......
Here's a little trivia on the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum. During the olympics, the Swiss wanted to use the property for their hospitality place, and told the owners they will invest a couple million dollars to restore the house. That's how it ended up becoming a museum of note in Atlanta. For "Gone With The Wind" fans, it mirvana. c.i.
Thanks for that piece of trivia, C.I.! More, More!
