The Dreams Across America tour is starting now. It involves a hundred "dreamers" who are sharing their stories as immigrants and Americans in their quest for compassionate immigration reform.

There are two things remarkable about this effort.

These are people who are sharing their stories, their hopes and dreams in a positive and gracious way without name calling and accusations that typify the immigration debate. An entry to the discussion without animosity or attacks is a very nice change.

This event in support of undocumented immigrants, is joined by legal immgrants and American citizens. It is a myth that the immigration debate is Americans versus "illegals". Quite the contrary many Americans and the majority of legal immigrants support the legalization of undocumented immigrants.

I hope that you will hear these powerful stories and clear ideas of American citizens and legal immigrants who, for many different reasons, are calling for a compassionate reform.
