These are very important to history.
In my view, he comes across as relatively simple minded. However, he was pragmatic, and made a few good decisions (e.g., getting out of Lebanon for fear of getting the country immersed in a ME war). Part of his mind lived in Hollywood, surrounding himself with performers (as well as his wealthy backers). He was often confused, a dangerous thing for a president.

I also remember about Reagan falling asleep at meetings.
I remember when Ronnie was scheduled to attend an important international conference in Virginia. Don Regan actually publicly stated that the country need not worry since Ronnie would be fully scripted for all but ten minutes during the two-day conference.
