I had a bowl of (yes, again) carne adovado soup (with pasta, caramelised onions, etc.) about an hour ago. But now I've just taken two short and fat loaves of Terni bread out of the oven, so when they cool down enough, I'll slice the loaf and spread one of the slices with pineapple preserves. Dessert!
Kathy, I've considered putting some roasted balsamic red onion on instead of the jam, but I'll save that as an idea for breakfast. Balsamic fig jam, huh? sounds good.
