I keep it outside of the house so I'm not tempted to have more.
A quick taste of the Lamb and Sweet Potato Curry I'm knocking up for later on.
Tastes OK, so it's gone back in a low oven for four or five hours.
Tummy rumbling now.

trying to use up some stuff
melted some ginger slices and green onion in butter
threw in some end pieces of german summer sausage and maple ham
let everything get soft
cut one of my serbian buns into six slices
diced up a remnant of marble cheddar
put bun slices in the pan, then the cheese and meat/onion on top
put a lid on the pan so the cheese would melt
served them with mini dills

(and emptied 4 packages of stuff completely < v for victory >)
didn''t eat the ginger slices but they gave the butter and cheese a nice flavour
The wife is visiting her sister. I dropped four big, frozen, chicken drumsticks in the iron skillet and let it alone under a low heat, for a long time. Finally, I upped the heat to medium, turned them a few times, ate them for dinner. Nipped off the gristle ends on the bones for Rocky, and we both were content.

butternut squash and feta nut roast
chopped up some cooked Halal chicken fingers and tangy dill pickles
made a sorta kinda chicken salad
sliced a long piece of baguette into thirds, toasted/buttered

a miserable piece of toast from a loaf of bread I took as health nutty in something of a hurry, new to me from now local and only place, walmart. Sweet city.
Back to baking my own, all the time.
