@ehBeth,
Buttered white bread, sliced tomato, salted, covered with deli american cheese. This is the first time I used a bit better quality in cheese trying not to use the kraft singles, anyways, broiled until bubbly and brown/black spots.

@ehBeth,
2 slices of seeded rye bread with a light coat of pesto + a little butter, with asadero cheese in the middle, foil wrapped, sent to get nice and hot in the oven.

@ossobuco,
5 slices of Vlasic sweet hot B&B pickles. EKSELLEENNNNT. When you are on diet, its amazing what you previously overlooked because it wasnt in the bacon or fried potato food groups.

@farmerman,
True.

I don't know from diet as such (I've been hefty a few times), but I get it from another matter, having little food money for years now. Being an early pre-foodie person, I have some well worn food snot qualities, but, on the other hand, my sense of smell is pitiful. My taste ability is pretty good in the circumstance. But yes, the small stuff, like good pickles, have a certain m'joy.

@chai2,
I had a beef sandwich for dinner tonight from Togo's. They fill it so much with meat, I could only eat half of it. I put the beef in a plastic bag, and put that in the frig. The bread is in another plastic bag sitting on the counter in the kitchen. I'll try to finish it tomorrow.
