@Dutchy,
Another glass of Merlot. 27 degrees, here, freezing rain expected to start around 4AM, that means black ice and impossible road conditions. Ok Dutchy, it's over 100 degrees where you are, what I want to know is the humidity level? Pretty please, with sugar on top.

@glitterbag,
Ease up on that Merlot glitterbag before you fall of your perch. Laughing Heat is very dry with a very low humidity level, however should the tropical weather come down from the north of Australia the humidity levels can be quite high.

@Dutchy,
What do you call high, I live near enough to DC, where ambassadors from other countries got hazardous duty pay due to summer tropical weather.....this was a century or so ago. We have days all thru the year when the humidity runs between 95 - 100 without raining, it's suffocating. My sister-in-law has been living in Austin, Texas for the last 20 years, she tells me people there get panicky when the humidity hits 55. Here, that's a great day.

I'm making up for spending December in chilly Europe and missing all the wonderful summer fruit. I bought a case of mangoes and a case of peaches yesterday, as well as some cherries and strawberries. Today I'm gorging!

Mmmm. Mangoes ....the taste of summer. My house smells fantastic!

@ehBeth,
A vietnamese friend who turned out to be of chinese heritage owned a place called Sing Sing. Some of the best food I've ever eaten, so good.

I just finished making a cream cheese sour cream lots of garlic lots of fresh cilantro some chopped jalapeno, some med. heat chile powder and squeezed whole lime dip. Oh, and some S &P.

Now I need to make some crackers. Crackers or pita bread. Decisions, decisions.
Oh, wait, maybe a focaccia.
