Oatmeal made with a blend of almond, rice, hazelnut milk, added fresh sliced almonds, pecans, and on top of that Raisin Bran with cinnamon. Talk about sticking to your ribs. Then I drink a half glass of prune juice.

I don't eat again 'til dinner about 5 pm.

I'm cooking veg stuff today, among it all, some collards. I'm thinking of making pickles from collard stems, but they need to be cooked down a bit. I plan to use the excellent refrigerator pickle recipe online that references Zuni Cafe.

So I've tasted them so far - a bit too crunchy, I think, but not by much. Edit, they're just right.
