I just had pb on a chinese sweet bun
@Rockhead,
I make canned pink salmon potato cakes and the sauce is usually mayo and dill relish.
@ehBeth,
hmmm.
I have a little bit of polska.
and some celery/onion.
dunno 'bout the rice.
I kinda cheat mostly and boil a bag o white...
I might have some weird rice out in my old trailer.
@Rockhead,
white rice works for stuffing
@ehBeth,
but the bags are like huge.
I will save some back next time I do rice. I'm guessing it will work from the fridge for this...
I just ate 5 days worth of hospital food for cardiac patients*, apparently devised by people who graduated from nutrition places in the, um, early 1980's. I liked them, the people from food service, and knew getting into it would be futile.
I saved the menu as a souvenir.
I'll write those days up as some of the process may be interesting for people with similar stuff going on, a complicated problem many 'theys' finally resolved.
But not tonight.
Oh, and tonight I'm having my own reheated eggrolls and dip.
*the assumption on admission

Home style Primanti Brothers sandwich. Went with pastrami, swiss, and the mandatory fries, coleslaw and tomato (exited the seeds first)
See here for more info (be warned, you might run out of stomach space before you're half through with these tasty meals...yet another reason to love Pittsburgh)
