I last ate some wheats (this time a dash of bran in the no-knead bread) toast with a salmon herb cream cheese spread.

When I get up in the middle of the night to let Sweetkate out, I hang around in the kitchen until the deed is done. The result is Oh, There's An Orange. They're especially delightful when you're sleepy. Somehow just right.

It's just canned salmon foolery (I'm getting better at it). I love beyond compare real and fresh northwest u.s. wild salmon, but that is both beyond my hilarious budget now and something I wouldn't trust even if my market in New Mexico had it and it was somehow affordable. I trusted it at the source when I lived there.
