@vonny,
Watched "SLEEPERS" last night with Kevin Bacon, Robert DeNiro, Dustin Hoffman, Jason Patric, and Brad Pitt, about four kids who grow up and exact revenge on the very system that puts them in harms way in their youth.

Not exactly a happy ending, but the story line has you following the suspense.

@cicerone imposter,
Ah, that's based on a Lorenzo Carcaterra book, Sleepers (screenplay by Barry Levinson). Carcaterra is a writer I like, but his books are perhaps not for the faint of heart.

@ossobuco,
Oops, we were off to the movies..

I just finished a spinach tortilla wrap around scrambled eggs, cheese, olives. Ok, but the tortilla was odd to me.

Mmmm - you never fail to make my mouth water, Ossobuco! I've just had a totally bland and boring RICH TEA biscuit! Ouch!

@Lustig Andrei,
An improved upon effort to get rid of those slimos, the spinach tortilla wraps.

I could go on about that. I don't happen to like the flour tortillas in New Mexico, basically Texan thick things, in my view, while I've always liked what I understand as Sonora (Mexico) tortillas, thinner. But these wrap things, thinner than Sonora tortillas, are hard to work with, so far, which I could learn, except I don't like the taste much either. Tossing will probably occur soon, but I'm a waste not sort.

So I tried again using one with a quesadilla (not the aforementioned scrambled eggs wrap), and the whole thing was improved with addition of bits of pickled jalapeno (they come in cans).

I make my own bread and that's enough energy that I've gotten down to the no-knead and wait mixture. Not much energy left for making tortillas. I tried with corn and either I was horrible or the recipe was. But I still have a large sack of masa harina to play with for the corn tortillas, and still remember a sonora style flour tortilla recipe that I lost in space. Eh, what I'd really like to do is some good tamales. The crap in grocery stores here is strange.
