Muahaha! I've got discharged from that hellish military service where my solicitous Dad managed to place me for ?'reaching manhood'. Thanks God I've survived in that meat grinder called Iraq.
Now I can draw myself up to my full height and to announce loudly that our praised United States army is worse than maximum-security prison. You're not only could be maimed or killed here. There are lots of junkies, pilferers, former hobos and other riffraff here. And no complaints to higher authorities at all.
We had been dying for interests of our native great fatherland in stinking Iraq for half a year. And we couldn't even tell anybody about those hellish things we've seen and suffered there. For our ******* high command forbad us publishing anything ?'that could cripple reputation of American army'.
But now I'm free man and no one can jump down my throat now. I want everyone to know that Pentagon makes from our soldier boys speechless dumb killing machines.
I'm going to register on all 13 blogs that included in Pentagon list of sites where US militarymen have no in Iraq. And I'll do my utmost for everything I've seen and felt in Iraq would be written there.
Damned, good to see you. Thanks for your service both in the military and out of it!
I'm curious, which blogs are included in that list from Pentagon? What made you decide to come to this one?
"solicitous Dad"?? "hobos"??? "forbad"??
I suspect Damned isn't who he/she portends to be.
I share your suspicion, fishin.
Who do we suppose this person is?
I am happy to see you managed to survive and return safely from Iraq. However, your description of your fellow soldiers is uncalled for. If you want to spew venom about your service in Iraq, you should be aiming at the people that put our armed forces in that meat grinder. Not those that had to endure the same hardships as you.

I get the same feeling Fishin. I could well be wrong, but something about this just doesn't feel right. Almost reads as though written by someone whose grasp of the language isn't quite complete. Of course, with schools today, that could be just about anyone, but something just ain't right.
hes tryin to sniff out traitors and terrorists by watcing the people who reply positively and support his statements.
im kidding.
I agree that something isn't right.
In addition, it always drives me absolutely batshit crazy when people poke fingers at "Pentagon". The soldiers based at the Pentagon are simply that -- soldiers, just like every other soldier. They did not burst onto the world from the head of Zeus, full grown with stars on the collar. To say that they are turning people into mindless killing machines is absurd.

*nods* I get the feeling it is a poor translation from someone who's native language isn't English. The word choices are just "off". I haven't heard anyone use the word "Hobo" outside of bad country-western songs in 30 or so years.
I think that it's Borat's little brother.

Add to that "Thanks God" which is something I have not ever heard a native English speaker say, and the conspicuous lack of definite articles.
