Okay, back to Sweden. Since a couple of relatives (16: aunt, cousin, nephews and nieces) live there as well as by personal experience ... your point was exactly what?

You know that such a waiting list doesn't include emergency but includes .... let's say visitors from the USA without any insurence at all.

So: how long has a visitor from Sweden without any insurence wait for a heart surgery in the USA?

I don't know, as I've never know a visitor from Sweden, lacking health insurance, who needed heart surgery.

Well, Americans get it in Sweden (more or less) immediately, for free.

Although I've lived in Sweden, I never had a health problem while I was there.

Note: Many Swedish physicians do come to the USA ( Boston ) for their residency years and some like it here so much, they stay. Laughing
