Thank you very much for explaining that these are mechanical, even the computer controlled valves. I use the car analogy all the time,although I ask if the salesperson told them that they would have to replace the tires.No, this is common sense,but a conditioner, with rubber orings, shouldn't wear out.LOL About 1/2 of the time , in talking to the customer on the phone, the "problem" is fixed. When I do go on a service call, the customer already knows that I've tried my best over the phone to solve their problem.
