@sozobe,
Yes, Penny and I are currently in Germany. Izzie wrote me that she's interested in getting her next. I plan to mail born-again Penny to her next unless someone objects.

What I don't have, though, is the notebook Penny used to travel with. Does somebody else have it?

I met Izzie recently when she visited Chicago. Izzie would take very good care of Penny. The part of England where Izzie lives is very beautiful.

Well, maybe notebooks, unlike hamsters, don't get born again.

@Thomas,
I'd thought that the notebook was a major accessory.

She's going to travel with a small notebook for A2K'ers to enter whatever they want in it, and will end up with my six-year-old daughter (who followed Rocky's travels with delight).

But how do they say in that part of the backwoods where you are now: Obacht gem, länger lem. Wink

Unverified rumour:

Penny visited Lake Ontario recently, accompanied by a German physicist.

It’s conceivable that they might have skipped a few stones. I dunno for sure.

@jespah,
Good Evening from the UK
http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/waves/DSC08349.jpg

Penny is delighted to inform you that she has arrived on British soil.

She’s somewhat jetlagged at this time after a long journey; the dear Royal Mail delivered her here safely after obviously keeping her in quarantine whilst they were on strike! (ahem... tsk tsk Royal Mail!)

She’s met the rest of the critters and has been warming herself by the fire whilst a storm rages outside.

Penny is now having a nice cuppa Earl Grey and will let you know of adventures in the UK as and when she travels Wink

I hope Penny gets to visit Speaker's Corner. I'm sure she'll have lots to say.

Do you think she can get one of the royal guards to break their demeanor by posing with them for a photo?

And making friends with the natives already!

I fear Penny might find it very difficult to leave Izzie's home, once she's established herself! The prefect critter environment. Very Happy

I hope she's brought some warm coats with her. It looks cold!

Looking forward (very much!) to see what this next phase of Penny's travels will bring! This looks like it's going to be fun!

@msolga,
Well thank goodness that Penny isn't superstitious given the presence of an ominous black cat and such.

@msolga,
More like an overly cautious anthropologist testing the waters of a strange yet exotic native.

And yes, the cat looks huggably gorgeous! Very Happy
