Penny seemed to have enjoyed working for you, doing the christmas decoration

I like it that no-one showed jealousy about food, too.

Have a merry christmas, all!

hehehehehe

Love those! especially rodent snack time, and Sticky's attentiveness. Cleo was the same way - just had to keep sniffing and sniffing and sniffing Penny - when she wasn't trying to hug her.

No hamster yet!

I saw something about mail being delivered tomorrow... not sure if that includes my area though. That'd be nice if she arrives Christmas day!

Aw, I hope she gets to you soon, soz, I hate to think of her cooped up in a box! I suppose the post office is a little slowed down with all the Christmas stuff though.

Mo was so funny with her! When I first showed her to him he didn't even glance at her, but then when I put her on all fours and walked her toward him, he looked completely horrified and had to run off and hide... it definitely looked like he thought she was a real little animal for a second Laughing Then he kept an eye on her for a minute to be sure she wasn't actually taking any lettuce; once he was sure about that, it was okay!

Whew! I'm all worn out catching up with Penny.

Cyphercat, your photos would be fine for a travelogue, with Penny at the base of some redwoods. It gives a fantastic example of how huge they really are. The pics also made me want to go hiking with her.

Here's hoping all had a wonderful Christmas. I'll be checking in to find out if Penny was able to spend Christmas with Sozlet and family.

Penny arrived yesterday!!

We had the absolute best time unpacking all the goodies and saying hello to the beloved prodigal hamster. (Sozlet was thrilled, thrilled to see her.) I'm still way busy and probably will be until tomorrow afternoon or so, but I know people worry about Penny so I wanted to drop by for a moment and say all is well!

We've been super busy and we're just catching up with the last of the redwoods, the ocean, and the decorating... we especially loved the Mo and Penny pics!!

This is great:

Sozlet got a digital camera for her birthday so we actually have some photos already! SHE took all the pictures. I'll upload those and post 'em now... (so far they've just been knocking around the house).

We're going to take her out and about in Columbus too -- didn't have a chance to with Rocky. Not quite sure where, yet.

Margo, are you the first on the Aussie list? I plan to send out Penny in a week or so, to be in Oz for Australia Day.

Ok, either Penny's time-travelling or (more likely) there is a date/time stamp issue with sozlet's new camera. Very Happy But wouldn't it be cool if Penny could time-travel?

I love Queen Penny's crown. A perfect fit.

There's a date/time stamp issue. The camera is hers, so I'm keeping hands off (she doesn't want me to fix the time yet). (She'll probably figure it out on her own anyway -- I've had to ask her how to work the camera and she has all the answers.) (I did take the picture of her snuggling Penny.)

Franklin Park Conservatory is a great idea. I think we will. Still haven't been there.
