Toward the front, there were a whole bunch of burned-out cars. From the wires and other clues around the site, it seems they're filming something there.

Cool!

I've been busy busy (my mom's here, sozlet's sick again), and I know you're waiting to find out who gets Penny now. Cyphercat and Farmerman expressed interest, right? If anyone wants to hunt them down and get a definite answer (and my apologies if I already missed a definite answer), that'd be great. Otherwise I'll coordinate when I have a little bit more time (hopefully Tuesday).

Sorry to hear that your family is observing the Traditional Holiday Festivities such as Sozlet Sick Again. Family rituals are bonding experiences--when you survive them.

I hope her birthday party was a success.

Hold your dominion.

Yay cyphercat! Thanks for following up with that, beth.

Next I'll go back to the beginning and find the Aussies who were interested and start coordinating that leg. (Next but not immediately, say within the next few days.)

She might... that also would solve the postage problem (I hesitate to impose the US-to-Australia postage on anyone). Maybe Penny can come home for the holidays and then go on to Australia from here...?

Since I'm only just looking looking through my 2,000+ photos from this year's trip to the USA, I just discovered that Penny had had some German wine ... in a Greek restaurant in New York:

.... and some cake in the Mozart café

(Hoping, she gets enough to eat and drink everywhere!)
