And this is the last one before my camera kicked the bucket.

I was hoping the tide would be low enough for us to get onto the sand bars, but no such luck.
The white dot you see in the background in the last picture is a lighthouse.
My grandfather use to be the keeper of the lighthouse and he would cross the bay in a boat in the summer to get to the lighthouse and walk across the ice in the winter.
The lighthouse is located at the very end of the dunes on the other side of the bay and every year they have a play there where actors/actresses act out what it was like in the old days and theirs one who plays my grandmother and one who plays my grandfather.
I went to the play a few years ago and video taped it. Was pretty neat :-D

Penny most certainly liked that!
(What's with the camera? Penny got some training with a digital SLR ....)
(I suppose, she asked for some males to talk with, too?! )

The camera battery just needed charging and unfortunately, no males to be seen anywhere!
Gotta catch up with Fishin for his address, but I probebly won't send Penny off until tues or wed, instead of tomorrow.

There's been a Fishin sighting in my PM and I'll be sending Penny along to him on Thursday or Wed if I happen to head to town.
She has been a wonderful guest and it was a pleasure having her :-D

Just wanted to let you all know that I sent Penny off towards the states this afternoon, so Fishin should be seeing his guest in a week or so.
Thanks for giving me the pleasure of Penny's company this past week. It made me one happy girl! :-D

It was my pleasure Soz! I enjoyed her visit and love seeing all the different places that she is traveling.
I'll post more pics of where I live when I have the chance, since you didn't really see all that much in the pics I took while Penny was here. I got a bit busy and didn't have as much time to spend with her as I would have liked, but it was a lot of fun and Penny was a treat :-D

Penny was sitting on my doorstep when I got home about 30 minutes ago!
We're going to grab a bite to eat and then take the puppy on a walk down at the lake before it gets dark.

So happy to hear that Penny made it to Fishin safe and sound :-D
Haven't heard anything about what they're doing and I wonder if they're on a secret mission
Deep breaths Dag, deep breaths
