We just read the latest post together... wow!! I loved the farming details. Sozlet and I have experience with old-style bathing from our time in the cabin in Colorado -- the one with no plumbing. We each bathed once in our week there, and that bath was a lot of work.

Sozlet: "It [the washing tub we bathed in] was just the right size for ME, but for Mama it was a bit tight!"

and

Sozlet: "That is SO amazing that Penny's name will be under the wall forever!!"

<dramatic sigh>

Montana--

I'll send Penny on her way next week--if you'll send me your address.

She's anxious to visit another country.

Soz--

Can you PM me your address? I'd hate to see any of Penny's little mementoes be lost in her globetrotting.

Noddy,
I just sent along my address and am looking forward to meeting Penny.

Can't wait to give her a ride on my lawn tractor and do all kinds of fun stuff :-D

Montana--

Penny is looking forward to garden tractors and all sorts of home and garden exploration.

She's a bit of a nibby-nose snoop--in the nicest sense of the word.

We're going to have a great time together. She can help me mow the lawn and I may even let her drive my lawn tractor.

She'll be just in time for my sunflower flowering (I hope) and it's still early enough to where we can spend some time on the beach. Maybe I'll even get her up early one day to catch the sunrise over the ocean :-D

Boy, Penny is sure lucky to be doing all this traveling and I'm wondering if she'll even get to see more places than CI Laughing

Is that even possible? Shocked

Well, that's what I really doubt.

But I'm sure, Penny will certainly remember more about what happened at what places (and their names) than ci does

Penny has had one of the best trips I've ever heard of.

If I had known my name was going to be preserved under dry wall forever, my imagination would have gone into overdrive, good for so many stories of the family or families who lived there. What fun!

Now with Montana--more fun and fresh faces and places.

Penny is all packed and ready to cross the border into Canada. I'd guess that she'll be flying out of ABE to the Toronto Airport and then travel by truck to New Brunswick.

More great Penny adventures to catch up on!

They're looking forward to meeting Penny at the office - they've gotten a bit involved in the saga.

:-D

margo, Australian adventures will probably be happening after FreeDuck's Moroccan adventure... and I think she's doing that Christmas-ish. So Australia day may be possible! We'll see how things go.

I'm happy to report that Penny made it here safe and sound yesterday and since it's going to be a nice day today, we'll be spending some time outside.

So far, Penny has been such a pleasant guest and we're getting along just great :-D

So how long do we keep Penny before we send her along?

And who am I going to send her too next?

I'm relieved that Penny crossed the border without harm.

Well, adventure tours into nowhere later on?

To me! To me! She's going to me!

It would be good to welcome her before Prince comes around the end of September/beginning of October. So I guess send her a week before the end of september or so?
I'll PM you with my mailing address.

Hurrah!

Thanks for being such an excellent Penny-hostess, Noddy! Looks like Penny goes off to Montana next. (Er, the person, not the state...)
